Original Article: Crackdown 3 Delayed Until 2019

The news comes from a pair of sources talking to Kotaku.

Two sources for Kotaku have reported that Crackdown 3 has been given more time to work on the game. The game was originally announced in 2014 with a cinematic trailer, and has since had a handful of appearances at various conventions and conferences, including another trailer and E3 demo last year.

The delay is apparently to avoid “another disaster”, referring to other fist party projects that were never released, such as the remaster of Phantom Dust, Scalebound and Fable Legends. The game was supposed to come out last year alongside the release of the Xbox One X, but was then pushe to an autumn 2018 release. Apparently until now if this report is to be believed.
