Austrian retailer Gameware put up a listing on its website for the rumoured sequel.
Gameware, an Austrian games retailer uploaded a listing for Devil May Cry recently, still available here, detailing that the game is apparently going to be on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It also specifies that it’s release date will be sometime this year.
It conflicts with a previous rumour detailing that DMC 5 had a trailer that was going to be revealed at PSX last year, and be a Playstation 4 exclusive. However, it never appeared, and many speculate that it was left for this year’s E3.
This comes after last week, rumours spread around of Resident Evil 2 possibly getting a remaster treatment, and appearing at E3. Daniel Southworth, the voice and Mo-cap actor of Vergil, DMC 3’s antagonist also was tagged in a tweet earlier this week of him in a full Mo-cap suit, tagging the tweet as something to do with video games. Speculation has circulated that his character may appear in DMC 5 as a result.
Had the chance to work with an awesome actor and stunt master @dan_southworth aka The Quantum Ranger amongst many other things again. Also, the lovely lady on the left also doubled as me in a couple of shots!
