The game seems to be the mighty platformer we all wanted.
The playstation store may have accidentally leaked the release date for Mega Man 11, on the Singapore site, after the listing for it went live before it was meant to. The game was announced last year, with a vague window of within 2018, and playstation’s listing seems to match that. It said that Mega Man 11 can be expected to drop onto digital stores, on October 3rd.
The listing has since been taken down, but twitter user, Wario64, managed to share a screenshot of the listing before it was taken down.

The listing states that “the newest entry in this iconic series blends classic, challenging 2D platforming action with a fresh look.” There is also the “innovative new double gear system lets you boost Mega Man’s speed and power for a new twist on the satisfying gameplay the series is known for.”
It seems pretty legitimate, but as for whether the date is accurate, or just a placeholder we’ll have to wait and see. A trailer has already dropped for Mega Man 11, since it’s announcement.
Mega Man 11 is confirmed for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. And hopefully, it’ll drop October 3rd.
